mare流ワインの楽しみ方 / Enjoying wine in mare style

わたくしmareがワインを沢山持っている理由。単純に子育てがしたいから。です🙂

学生時代、銀座数寄屋橋マリオンの地下にあった酒屋さん「酒蔵」で１月分のアルバイト代を費やし清水の舞台から飛び降りるつもりで買った１ケースのレ・フォール・ド・ラトゥール１９８２年。毎年一本づつ開けていったのですが、その成長を見ていくのが楽しく、そして一番美味しかった１２本目を飲んだ時、なぜ２年おきに飲まなかったのか、という後悔。それが今のmareのワインの楽しみ方の発端であり、動機です。

何度も繰り返しますが、mareは一度もDRCのロマネ・コンティもモンラッシェも買ったことがありません。それを買うことが悪いと思っているわけではありません。実際、何万円もするワインも買ったことはあります。ただ今はというと、DRCのモンラッシェを１本５０万円で買うのなら、４，０００円のワインを５０本買い、そして３０万円のワインセラーを買います。５０本のワインを半年おきに開けていき、成長を見守っていく方が楽しいからです。

写真はドメーヌ・ド・フェラン、シャトーヌフ・デュ・パプ２００７年です。９年前に京橋ワインさんから3,000円台で６０本購入しました。けつが青かったくせに最近少し大人の顔を見せるようになってきました。１２歳、人でいったら２０歳ぐらいなんでしょうか？成人式でる？って感じです。こんな感じがmare流ワインの楽しみ方です。

高価な、希少なワインばかり追いかけているより楽しくありませんか？

Why do I have such a number of bottles?  I just love to bring up children🙂  Very simple answer.

When I was at University, I spent all my part-time job money to buy a case of Les Forts de Latour 1982.  I opened a bottle every year and I really enjoyed their growth.  And, unfortunately, 12th bottle was much better than previous 11 bottles and I regretted that I opened bottles every one year but not every other years.  Anyway, it is the beginning of enjoying wine in mare style and the reason to keep on doing it.

Again, I never bought Romanee Conti or DRC Montrachet.  I am not against it.  But, if I can buy DRC Montrachet, I would buy 3,000 USD wine cellar and buy 50 bottles of 40 USD wine.  I keep watching my children's growth every year.

The picture I attached is Domaine de Ferrand, Chateauneuf du Pape 2007.  I bought 60 bottles 9 years ago.  They used to be such small kids.  But, recently, they sometimes show adult faces.  I guess it reached adult age, maybe 20 years old in human age.  This is the way of mare sytle.
